​The neck is not just where your head meets your body. It is in of itself a sensory organ that is constantly providing us information about how our bodies are positioned, provides nerve supply to our arms, and is the home of some of the muscles that control our eyes, and even the residence of our brain stem.

Unfortunately, whether it is because of injury, concussion, or the pressures of life, many of these systems can develop issues. This can lead to disc or joint injury, nerve root irritation, headaches stemming from the neck, and dizziness. High quality physiotherapy has been shown to be effective in managing numerous conditions stemming from the neck.

Therapy for the neck typically involves offloading the irritated tissue at the neck and reducing symptoms. However, our unique method goes beyond this, and seeks to address biomechanical contributing factors that may be coming from other regions of the body (shoulder girdle, thoracic spine etc). Once this is achieved, our focus shifts to strengthening the neck and upper body to minimise recurrences.
